Croatia’s build-up to the World Cup got underway as Zlatko Dalic’s side took to the field at Stadion HNK Rijeka for a friendly against Belgium.
Inter midfielder Petar Sucic was named in the starting line-up and played 71 minutes of the friendly before being replaced by Kramaric. The match ended 2-0 to the Red Devils, who scored once in each half.
The appearance marked Sucic’s 16th senior cap for Croatia, who have been drawn in Group L for the upcoming World Cup alongside England, Ghana and Panama.
