North Korean officials toured a factory operated by a Belarusian heavy machinery maker this week, appearing to eye imports of tractors and other farming equipment that would likely run afoul of U.N. sanctions.

    A DPRK delegation led by External Economic Relations Minister Yun Jong Ho visited the facilities of Amkodor, a major Belarusian producer of road, forestry and agricultural equipment, the firm said in a press release on Tuesday.

    Amkodor is sanctioned by the U.S., Canadian and Ukrainian due to its support for the authoritarian government of Alexander Lukashenko and contributions to Belarus’ defense sector.
