    1. Make no mistake, this is by design. Traditional rules such as not putting out a candidate in a district which was vacant due criminal conduct by an incumbent from your party were broken.

      Multi-member districts and expanded proportional seats, something that has been being called for for twenty years at this point, are still nowhere close to realisation purely because the DP and PPP refuse to make it so. Even the 5% minimum requirement for proportional seats still has not been lifted.

      Political funding and election budget/subsidy regulations basically make elections a win-or-bankruptcy situation for smaller parties. We’ve known about this too of course, and we refuse to change it.

    2. As someone who has voted for the Progressive Party regularly, the point of minor parties is basically to be blamed by the major party in the same wing for all of its election losses

      That way the dumbass major parties can happily continue to learn nothing from their mistakes

      Not saying the minor parties are perfect, but the major parties are utterly pathetic in this nation
