Princeton, which had eight submissions named finalists and earned a trio of awards for the second straight year, joined the University of Tennessee as departments that received three honors.
Princeton’s production of Men’s Ice Hockey: Princeton vs. Harvard for SNY and ESPN+, produced and directed by Dave Turner, edged out 13 finalists for Outstanding Live Game Production (Collegiate Athletics – Championship).
Beyond the Stripes: Torian Roberts, produced by Keith Egan and Cody Chrusciel, took home top honors for Outstanding Special Feature (Collegiate Athletics – Championship) in a category where Princeton accounted for four of the 10 finalists.
The Road to St Andrews, which was produced by Drew Miller and Chas Dorman and chronicled Princeton men’s and women’s golf’s trip to Scotland for the 2025 St Andrews Links Collegiate, was honored as Outstanding Cinematic Recap (Collegiate Athletics – Championship).
Hosted by ESPN Senior Writer Ryan McGee, the ceremony on May 27 in Atlanta honored winners from athletic departments, conference offices, professional networks, production companies, and the student ranks across six categories: Live Game Production, Live Non-Game Production, In-Venue Video, Cinematic Recap, Social Media Video, and Special Feature.
