On 22 May 2026, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of The Gambia, Pa Musa Jobartech (residing in Brussels) presented a copy of his letters of credence to the Director of the Diplomatic Protocol Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zurab Darchiashvili.
Following the presentation ceremony, the Head of the Department for the Middle East and African Countries, Zurab Dvalishvili, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of The Gambia, Pa Musa Jobartech.
The Georgian side congratulated the Ambassador on the commencement of his diplomatic mission in Georgia and wished him success in his future endeavours.
The parties discussed the importance of developing mutually beneficial cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats, and expressed readiness to share experience across various fields.
