A tense final left Andorra fighting for survival, and a composed performance from Artem Pustovyi helped keep the club in Spain’s top division.

    The regular season of the Spanish basketball championship has ended, where a tense battle for a place among the elite unfolded.

    According to the Ukrainian Basketball Federation (FBU), the Andorra Morabank club, which battled for survival in the league, managed to preserve its status as a participant in the top division for the current season.

    In the final match, Andorra lost at home to Barcelona in overtime – 95:100, which allowed the Catalans to claim 16th place in the standings.

    Ukrainian center Artem Pustovyi played 22 minutes on the court, scored 10 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and 1 block.

    Overall in the season our big man played 34 games. Averaging 18.9 minutes per game, he scored 11.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 0.7 assists.

    Thus, Andorra preserved its place in the elite of Spanish basketball, and Artem Pustovyi continues to demonstrate steady productivity for the team.
