    1. Breaking up the union would be like a second brexit for all four countries involved. I don’t think any competent PM would entertain the idea until the country as a whole is in a healthy state.

Scottish independence is the deadest conversation. They had a referendum, chose to stay. Since then the SNP’s popularity has slowly declined.

The media and right wingers in Scotland really are shouting in an empty room when it comes to independence.

Scottish independence, the second biggest lie sold/peddled after Brexit.

I wonder who (clue Russia) is behind this misinformation campaign?

Everyone knows the SNP are going to lose a load of seats. There’s zero chance Labour will open independence negotiations after that.

I don’t get what the SNPs plan is. If they gain independence what will they do? They gain a lot of money from essentially England, they won’t have the pound and would be essentially screwed

Even if Scotland do get independence they lose all the money the commons give them and they wouldn’t even be allowed to join the EU to stop a stirring of a Catalonia Referendum being forced. It cannot and will not ever happen and Starmer is competent for denying it.

Of course, why would you pander to an issue that has always been a minority in regards to the polling?

Nukes good, NATO good, British good. Don’t like it? Fuck off.
