*UPDATE*(12:30 p.m.) The Maryland State Police have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection to a road rage shooting that shut down B-W Parkway Wednesday morning.According to police, Darius Bryant, 21, of Prince George’s County has been arrested in connection to the shooting incident and is facing multiple charges including attempted murder.U.S. Park Police detained Bryant in Washington D.C. after a traffic stop where during the search of the vehicle, a loaded gun was found along with a dispensed shell casing. Police said that the victim, who has not been identified, was driving on northbound I-295 when his white van was struck by gunfire on the driver side. After the shooting, the victim drove himself to a nearby medical center where he was met by troopers from the Glen Burnie Barrack. He was then taken to Shock Trauma for treatment.The victim provided police with a description of the vehicle as well as dashcam video of the incident. Police said around 8:40 a.m. the suspects vehicle was found and he was taken into custody. The roadway was shut down for approximately 4 hours to conduct the investigation but has since reopened. The victim was taken to Shock Trauma, where he is being treated for his injuries. The victim had a passenger in his vehicle that did not suffer any injuries.
