It’s amazing how popular South Korean culture has become. Here in the U.S. I commonly find others who watch kdramas and listen to K-pop. I personally stopped watching any American film or TV after a friend had me watch “W: Two Worlds.”

Korean fans were also spotted cheering for Mexico and Mexicans been returning the love. lt been back and forth all over social lately of everyone bonding.
In 2018 WC, Korea beat Germany which helped Mexico advance. I believe many Mexican fans still appreciate this. On the other hand, Koreans remember that many Mexicans and Mexican Americans fought for them in the Korea war.

There’s a long history of Koreans in Mexico, dating back to 1905. In fact, in Mexico City, there’s a Koreatown known as [Pequeño Seúl](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peque%C3%B1o_Se%C3%BAl) (Little Seoul).
