A lot of these shopping arcades are in decline, too many shop owners retiring without transferring their premises to younger generations with new business ideas. Hope this one is a success.
Assuming, conservatively, that the shops are open just 5 days per week, 10,000 tourists per year would be just under 40 per day. Is that all the patronage it takes to “revitalize” the district?
