Many parts of the country will see rain showers on Tuesday amid hot weather.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the central and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province as well as southern inland regions will see scattered rain on Tuesday.
Most inland areas are forecast to see rain showers through Wednesday.
The mercury will climb past 30 degrees Celsius in the afternoon in most parts of the country on Tuesday.
Morning lows will stand between 14 and 21 degrees, including 21 in Seoul.
Afternoon highs will range between 24 and 34 degrees, including 34 in Seoul, 31 in Gwangju and 30 in Daegu.
