A high level meeting in Brussels set the stage for new intergovernmental consultations and faster progress on negotiating clusters. Expect a focus on energy projects and diplomatic coordination.

    Volodymyr Zelensky and the Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico discussed Ukraine’s European integration, energy cooperation, and joint efforts for peace.

    Additionally, the president said, another round of Ukrainian-Slovak intergovernmental consultations was agreed to be held.

    Zelensky expressed gratitude to Slovakia for supporting Ukraine’s European integration and for opening the first negotiating cluster.

    Progress in opening the remaining clusters is expected in the near future, the head of state said.

    The meeting highlighted joint efforts toward peace, regional stability, and Ukraine’s continued progress on its path to Europe.
