      Is he actually leaving government, or doing the Russian switcheroo where he goes Prime Minister, and someone just like him becomes President temporarily to pretend like it’s a Democracy?

      Congratulations Serbia for yeeting this dude. I’m sure that him deciding to call it quits has absolutely nothing, nothing at all to do with Bloodin’s Russia getting hammered hard by Ukraine and Lukashenka deciding to distance itself… now all the region needs is to yeet Dodik as well.

      I wouldn’t trust anything he says, may try what Putin did in 2008 where a crony takes over as president while he runs the party from behind, but maybe seeing Orban go down so easily broke his confidence of holding power indefinitely so who knows

      He’ll just become a prime minister. He’s not going anywhere. There is a loophole in Serbian governance system where he can become a prime minister while not holding the elections untill the end of 2027.

      I’ll believe it when I see it. And even if he does leave, it’s not like he won’t have another crony lined up. Serbia needs a complete clear out of the ruling elite not just Vučić.
