In an update to families this week, the family behind Tamales Los Girasoles in Malta said they are no longer serving patrons.
The authentic Mexican food restaurant, located at 4199 Route 38, has closed.
Patrons of the Malta eatery are encouraged to check out the dishes at their two other locations, Tamales Los Girasoles food truck and Taco Alley RT-38 in DeKalb.
“We’re incredibly grateful for all the support you’ve shown us, and we can’t wait to continue serving you with the same authentic flavors you know and love,” the owners wrote.
The owners gave thanks to the community for being part of their journey.
“We look forward to seeing you soon at Taco Alley or the Tamales Los Griasoles food truck!” the owners wrote.
