LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville bakery relocated to the Highlands over the weekend.
According to our partners at Louisville Business First, Bae’s Bakery opened July 11 at 1021 Bardstown Road. The bakery was previously located in the Clifton neighborhood at 1804 Frankfort Ave.
The nearly 3,200-square-foot space on Bardstown Road was previously home to Oddbird Bakery and Café, a Quill’s Coffee concept that closed in 2025 after just 3 months in business.
Husband-and-wife owners Griffin and Abigail McGreevy told LBF they have outgrown the Clifton location and need more space to expand and broaden the menu and production capacity.
Bae’s first location opened in Old Louisville before relocating to Clifton in 2023. The bakery is known for its cake by the slice and jumbo stuffed cookies. It also serves breakfast pastries, scones and brownies.
With the new location, the McGreevys said they plan to revamp the menu with more coffee drinks and additional baked goods.
