      while the guy is an idiot and will rightfully face judgement, but check this girl’s insta. She’s saying the guy hit her because of the russian language. She even uses the same moto as the russian goverment while explaining their invasion to Ukraine: genocide for using russian language.

      Disgusting. I hope she will also be prosecuted after she’s healed

      Apparently the guy’s father commented on FB providing their side of the story. These women poured water on the guests, they were told to knock it off, and then they proceeded to pour piss on the table from their balcony. His son went up to their room, and when the girls opened the room one of them immediately shoved the guy and got aggressive. He retaliated and punched her.

      **if** this version is true, the guy did nothing wrong. She physically assaulted him first and caused this whole situation, she’s lucky she only walked away with a broken nose. “But she’s a woman” does not shield one from the consequences of their actions. They were told civilly to stop being assholes and they answered with physical assault and diabolical behavior.

      Given the context and Russians’ tendency to provoke people and then use their reactions to reinforce Putin’s shitty propaganda (Russians are being hate crimed and persecuted!!) I’m inclined to believe the father’s side of the story. This is not the first case of Russian tourists overstepping boundaries.

      These are the fruits of the mass acceptance of russian tourists. It is impossible to resist an aggressor while simultaneously cooperating with them. Unfortunately, this is not the tourists’ fault.

      No matter their nationality, when you are a guest in country, behave like one. They poured wine and literal urine on wedding guests and a lot of attendees are speaking up about it. If anyone still takes their side, you can leave the country as well 🫶🏻 If they market it as racism, good for us, less uncivilized tourists for Georgia.

      It’s very bad whatever happened, could have been resolved without physical violence – but actions have consequences and framing it as being because of the language that was spoken and not because of behavior tells me all I need to know about the situation.

      Hope guy gets out with a fine after hearing and manages his anger issues cause he surely does have em.

      Hope the girls will grow up and learn how to behave, if you can’t handle alcohol and your true Russian side comes up stick to water.
