US DoD inspector general report on the war with Iran says conflict resulted in munitions shortfall and ‘bottlenecks’

    In an attempt to mitigate these constraints, the Trump administration has been working to replenish the stockpile. According to the report, the Pentagon is “working to streamline procurement processes and production lead times, and to stockpile critical materials, components, and selected munitions to respond rapidly to a contingency”
