One person has died after falling at Romsdalseggen in Romsdalen, western Norway.
Police were alerted to the accident at 11:39 a.m. on Saturday, Sweden Herald reported.
The person was hiking with another person when the accident occurred. The fall happened near the top of Romsdalseggen, writes Åndalsnes Avis. According to the newspaper, the person fell tens of metres.
Romsdalseggen is one of Norway’s most famous and beautiful hiking trails. The highest point is 1,329 metres above sea level.
