      Idk much, but I heard that this guy is good. That him and Philippe are the 2 beat candidates for the president.

      This primary was mainly to decide if the socialists were going to join Melenchon or Attal/Philippe. The latter won.

      Glucksmann is fine, a normal centrist to center left candidate.

      All the people attacking him are part of the latest trend in France that anything moderate/traditional pro-Europe spectrum is bad, ruined the country, and the only solution is radical socialism to beat fascism or something.

      I’m so tired of constantly being on the verge of everything just exploding. In a normal/sane world this French presidential election would be between Philippe and Glucksmann. Instead polling suggests that it will be between Le Pen and Melenchon. Two absolutely horrific, I mean HORRIFIC candidates proving horse-shoe theory IRL, as both are pro-Russian, anti-NATO and anti-EU.
