Kosovo rolls out national digital wallet and eID platform

Kosovo’s Ministry of Digitalisation and Public Administration has officially launched the National Electronic Identity Platform, Digital Wallet, and the iSign electronic signature application. Supported by EUR 2.3 million in EU funding, the new initiative lets citizens and businesses securely prove their identity and sign documents online and via smartphone, without paper or in-person office visits.
