Lot of subtext here. UK, France and much of NW Europe has no issue having their weapons hit Russia. The US wont come out and say it has no problem but there is a faction inside the US government that does. Germany does so long as the US does.

UK position is no real change but it means the most stable major government in the alliance (5 years with a majority) is comfortably the most hawkish.

For NW Europe with the US possibly going Trump and err France, UK is re-asserting that its comfortable with its nuclear deterrent if the US goes to Trump to have the backs of NW Europe.

We should be seizing Russian central bank assets as Europe did and using them to rebuild Ukraine.

    3. And there’s me thinking until now the UK provided them just so Ukraine could make art installations out of them… /s

    4. What is the point of this? Putin is going nowhere. We are spending millions on a war that is being lost. Why are we not pushing for a ceasefire and peace talks? A generation of Ukrainian and Russian youth is being slaughtered in the vain hope that we will dispose of a dictator who will no doubt die in office of old age.

    5. Honestly we’ve given them the bombs why should we care where their used? It’s not like Russia are holding back at all.

They’re now Ukraine’s missiles. Why should be concerned with how they use them?
