Good.
For everyone saying that this is irrelevant or that Israel and Hamas haven’t been waiting to hear from David Lammy before they decide whether to stop slaughtering civilians, it’s still better for us to have a Foreign Secretary who says this than to have one who *doesn’t* say this and who says that using mass starvation of civilians as a weapon of war is legitimate!
This guy doesn’t know that Hamas has turned down four of the last ceasefire requests from Israel?
Seeing as a [ceasefire deal is already “within reach”](https://m.jpost.com/israel-hamas-war/article-809863) and would include an interim government made up of PA supporters and backed by Arab states it seems a little silly to call for an immediate ceasefire now, one that would leave Hamas in power ensuring this happens again in a few years
Another fool for the pile, not that anyone was expecting anything from David Lammy of all people, right?
