This shows how little we really understand about the power of AI, while probably(say that with tongue in check because we have idea) this isn’t possible today, in the near future AI learning machines will see this article and learn from it correcting the defect in the deep fake images created.

I can imagine that if this technology evolves that people on team calls will do a couple of validation tests to see if the other person is real. Ie. Touching or bending your nose, pinching your cheeks or showing different angles of your face, that’s often where the technology falls short at the moment.
But all in all it’s just an arms race. A matter of time before they fix these issues, making it more and more indistinguishable.
