She was pulling a Majorie Taylor Green. Screaming over the dispatch box. Appalling behaviour from her and BadEnoch

Never heard her screaming for answers when her own party was in power…

She absolutely should be criticised and she should be punished accordingly.
This type of behaviour is not acceptable and only pushes our democracy further into ruin.
We’ve seen what this kind of behaviour can do to a country by looking at America. It’s politics is a circus and they’re all shouting to be the loudest idiot in the room. We can not stand to let our country fall into the same chaos as we see in the US and Ms Atkins should be ashamed of herself.

Meh, don’t see what the big deal is. I watched PMQs often during the last several years and opposition (of all parties) were constantly interrupting and it’s always been a shouting match. How many times did the speaker have to tell them to stfu?
In the video, it seems like Kemi Badenoch does similar (albeit to a lesser degree). So if Atkins is abominable, I’d expect some criticism for her, too.

In online gaming terms: Mad because bad.
You only get this from them when they’ve just been hammered in a general election.
Because politics is apparently a team sport she was, of course, sat there docilely nodding along when they were in power.

She should have spoke up when her party were in power

They haven’t quite cracked opposition yet, have they?

Christopher Chope probably thought it was outrageous a woman was speaking in parliament. What if she menstruated on a Bill or something?

Toryism is founded on presumption and imagined superiority. It finds outlet in entitlement and displays of idiocy. Unfortunately this impresses a segment of the working class who respect their ability to override rules.

It’s important because this is the House of Commons, not the local supermarket or kebab shop.
Standards matter when it comes to debate. As elected representatives who get paid a lot of money for being there it’s only right that MPs hold themselves to higher standards than the local council estate.

Labour are going to have to tighten up rules on MP behaviour, not only in relation to MP’s expenses, and the sources of donations, but also to combat tactics like this – a disgraceful attempt to disrupt business in the House.
While I’m sure this is just Atkins positioning herself for a leadership bid, the Tories were spectacularly dumped after 14 years, and there should be no place for their pathetic antics now they’re on the opposite side of the aisle.
