I’d assumed the dangerous driver charge would have been levelled at one of the vehicles that crashed. Sounds like that sadly there was another vehicle involved that left behind a trail of devastation.

Several families destroyed, one completely obliterated. If the individual arrested is responsible, throw the book at them.

Hope this doesn’t prove to be another case of ‘I didn’t see the motorbike’, but I may be disappointed.

So the motorcycle was trying to swere from the third party then crashed into the other vehicle?

Well, I hope this shuts up all the people on the previous thread about this putting unfounded blame on the bike rider.

I wonder if the Youtuber I saw last week on here doing ridiculous driving has achieved his destiny.

Not worth speculating on what happened until it comes out in the wash

Even if all three were driving with wreckless intention (which is unlikely) to leave the scene of a catastrophic collision without alerting emergency services or even stopping to check if anyone was still alive is disgusting. So no matter who comes out looking like they were at fault, Porsche driver is alive and in the fortunate position to have the book thrown at them. The rest are dead and could only wish they were being questioned by police.

Everyone else being dead, the driver of the Porsche if found can completely make up the narrative and it will be very hard to prove what truly happened.

An arrest is not a charge. That may or may not happen. The police are information gathering. Equally, this arrest doesn’t imply that either the biker (or the driver of the Focus, heaven forbid, it seems unlikely) were not speeding on that stretch of road. Additionally, the crash investigation is still underway and will almost certainly provide a timeline of these catastrophic events.

Great job by police to find the evidence in this extremely sad incident. Now it makes sense why the road remained closed for so long. so hopefully he will be dealt with quickly through the courts, if he is at fault, even if sentencing for causing death by dangerous driving has low maximum jail time..

This is exactly why I don’t drive. I see too many similar incidents daily.
