  1. From the article:

Mind-machine implants, like Neuralink’s chip, help paralyzed people control devices with their thoughts. These brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) are improving quickly, raising hopes of future memory alterations and skill downloads. However, many technical and ethical challenges still need to be addressed.

  2. Sounds stupid, why put a machine inside you instead of just finding a real and concrete solution so people don’t need all these invasive procedures

  3. I’m more positive on this stuff than others in the comments. Obviously a lot of safety concerns and avenues for abuse that have to get addressed from the outset. But the potential for this to be a game changer for people with severe disabilities is immense.

A dangerous game rooting for corporations inserting mind implants for sure, but I’m going to err on the side of positivity this time and hope it delivers on its potential. Famous last words no doubt 😂

  4. Hopefully one day they’ll be able to broadcast advertising directly into your mind
