Typical corporate foot dragging, while they expect maximum performance out of their employees, they hesitate to implement basic guidelines when it comes to the use of AI.
The corporate bureaucracy is stifling productivity, while demanding it from their employees.

  2. Typical garbage corporate nonsense. These people start panicking whenever anything can improve people’s lives in any way.

I was really hoping the title would lead me to an article about a rogue, sentient AI working behind the scenes. Bummer it’s just corporate bullshit.

  4. What they really fear is people working multiple full time jobs with the aid of AI.

If you double productivity, you don’t have to offer it up to your company, you can use it to double your income instead.

  5. With small models like Gemma 2 9B that are easy to run locally and are near GPT-4 level, there are no excuses for companies to leak their private info to OpenAI.

  6. Please can we just disaster already so we can read about something other than AI?

I bet back in the day companies pearl-clutched about “company security” when employees started using the internet too.
