Has the conservative party ever done an impact analysis that reaches beyond their and their mate’s wallets and stock portfolios?

Is one years sugar beet crop really worth the risk of using neonicotinoid? The insecticide is used to kill aphids that spread plant viruses but saving this year’s crop at the cost of no pollinators for next year seems a desperate measure.

The crop in question is sugar beet. Perhaps we can do without less sugar.

There have been multiple consecutive years of emergency authorizations for this insecticide- sounds like farmers and the sugar industry have an expectation of this approval. Repeated years of the same problem isn’t so much of an emergency.
