    1. More than 30 far-right rallies have been planned for this weekend as concerns about rioting escalate, following [a wave of violence on British streets this week.](https://inews.co.uk/news/over-100-arrested-london-hartlepool-riots-southport-attack-3202113?ico=in-line_link)

At least two further rallies have been planned for August and September respectively, with the events spanning from Glasgow to Dover, according to anti-racism organisation Hope Not Hate.

[Tommy Robinson](https://inews.co.uk/topic/tommy-robinson?ico=in-line_link), the far-right founder of the [English Defence League](https://inews.co.uk/topic/edl?ico=in-line_link), (EDL) promoted one event in Glasgow’s George Square, saying that the “British are rising”.

It comes as a legal expert told **i** that Robinson, [who left the country on Monday](https://inews.co.uk/news/tommy-robinson-leaves-uk-ahead-of-high-court-case-3195491?ico=in-line_link), could face extradition proceedings if he didn’t return to the UK in October to attend court.

The 41-year-old – whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon – was due to appear in court on Monday over accusations that he breached an injunction by spreading false allegations about a Syrian refugee, but travelled on the Eurotunnel out of Kent on Sunday night, the High Court was told.

The High Court subsequently issued a draft warrant for his arrest, but the judge said this could not be executed while was outside the UK.

In his first media appearance since his disappearance, Robinson said he was “going to go back and face this case” and “fully expects to be in prison for a long time”.

However, he did not reveal where he is or give a timeline for his return to the UK. The far-right leader said his children were about to join him overseas, suggesting his return was not imminent.

It comes just days after he led a “patriotic rally” in London’s Trafalgar Square against which he said was attended by 100,000 people.

      # Rallies planned across the UK

At least 35 far-right rallies are planned across the UK between Friday and Sunday, according to Hope Not Hate information and Robinson’s social media seen by **i**.

Liverpool and Manchester are both set to see more than one rally this weekend.

[Dozens of rioters were arrested this week during clashes with police](https://inews.co.uk/news/far-right-thugs-wales-surrey-southport-vigil-3200438?ico=in-line_link), following a mass stabbing at a children’s dance class in Southport.

Southport erupted into violent riots on Tuesday night, as members of the public threw bricks and glass at a nearby mosque and police, [injuring more than 50 officers.](https://inews.co.uk/news/southport-stabbing-casualties-reported-3195784?ico=in-line_link)

More than [100 people were arrested at a demonstration outside Downing Street](https://inews.co.uk/news/clashes-break-out-police-protesters-after-southport-riot-3201978?ico=in-line_link) on Wednesday, while a further eight were arrested in Hartlepool.

The only solution is to up our taxes and increase benefits.

Only by opening our wallets can we quell the rioters.

You know what, We’ve been hearing about how the country is in a bad financial state at the moment with a combination of public spending cuts/Tax increases to come (So Austerity atleast temporarily). You know what will help with that?! Having a huge policing bill to cover the cost of dealing with all these idiotic protests.

      What patriots.

    4. I wonder if any if these people have jobs actually improving things. Or do they just sort of….seethe.

    5. If it’s about stopping immigration, why don’t these people blockade airports, ferryports and the Eurostar terminal?

Those are the main points of entry by which foreigners are moving in.

If tens of thousands or low hundreds of thousands of pensioners and far-righters occupied airport arrival halls and refused to move, this would not only hit airlines in the pocket, it would also give foreigners the direct impression that they are not wanted in the country.

There would be far too many for airport security officials or police to arrest. Given the number who managed to organise to march against the Iraq War, why don’t more Reform and Tory voters, and pensioners in general (who have heavily discounted domestic travel), go to airports and do the above?

    6. “Lets make some positive changes! We need and CAN do better, lets…..”

“Burn shite and lob bricks about!”

Doesn’t sound like positive change to me, especially coming from the same people who called another specific group ‘animals and savages’ for ‘protesting’ the same way they are now.

Hans get the Wasserwerfer. After all what problem can’t be solved by the judicious application of vast quantities of water?*

Getting too hot? You can create an impromptu cooling rain shower defusing all manner of tensions.

Morons blocking the road to make themselves feel powerful? Clear a path using a 1200 l/m cannon.

Racist knuckledraggers about to torch a mosque, show them the error of their ways with a effervescent mixture of water and teargas.

^(*Not recommended for usage in flood control, direct thirst quenching, or childbirth, other restrictions may apply, please consult your manual.)

As long as they don’t block any roads or cause any inconvenience to me getting my sick child to hospital where he works full time but is a slight lateness from being sacked it should be fine

How about all the BLM and free Palestine protests which were riots? The media scrutiny back then was a disgrace.

      Both are in the wrong.

    10. Just seen someone post about a “ freedom March” in Stoke with pictures of crusaders on Facebook group . Reported as hate speech

b-b-b-but that nice mister farage told me it was the pensioners blocking the motorway who were the real terrorists????
