Shame they didn’t get Mars, Inc. to sponsor it.

      They could’ve called it Twixenham

They renamed the millennium stadium  to the principality stadium, guess what we still call it….

Rfu must be desperate for money to pay for their expenses all paid travel trips, cos that money is definitely not going to the clubs…

    3. It’s Twickenham. It’ll always be Twickenham. The same way Cardiff is the Millennium, Edinburgh is Murrayfield, and Dublin is Lansdowne. Sure, some company can give a few million over for the rights to the name, but us fans won’t care beyond this initial outrage.

Great stadium but really let down by the transport. Spent two and a bit hours getting to the train station after a match. Also the seats are just too small but maybe that’s a stadium thing.

Renaming classic historical venues just to get some extra cash is disrespectful to the history of the place and just plain tawdry.

    6. There’s an Allianz stadium in Sydney where the Waratahs and sometimes the Wallabies play. Not confusing at all.

Why do people who buy stadiums, etc. think their sh*tty names can ever trump over a century of history?
