      Set a precedent of charging such people with assault and putting them in jail, need not be for long – just to make all future candidates think twice about it.

      Edit: Preserving the integrity of Parliamentary process is much more important than your emotional satisfaction. Don’t be hypocrites. If it was GD politician assaulting the opposition I’d say the exact same thing. Don’t fucking assault people in Parliament, if you really must – do it outside.
