I swear I’ve seen this plotline in multiple police procedurals. I guess they are based on true stories.

Fuck, the lengths she went to. Fortunately, those poor parents didn’t have to receive the “sorry your baby is missing” call, as the staff and parents knew she was suss as fuck.
…but, of course in the other case the baby-killing nurse couldn’t have done it because ‘she’s a patsy-type reasons’.
These sort of nutters are out there.
Stealing babies is the only crime women perform more than men. The next closest is embezzlement, which is performed by men and women equally, although it is argued that less women are in a position to embezzle funds, so proportionally, they are more predisposed to do so.
