    1. Imagine living in a place where raping someone is a less severe offense than providing Sky Sports streams illegally or not declaring your full tax returns.

I imagine there will be a series of protests and riots now? (_Imagine_ being the key word).

Looks like he was sentenced below even the minimum 3B sentencing point which is 4 years. I assume they took time off due to no previous offences and being of ‘previous good character’. Disgustingly low sentence, really hope it is reviewed and increased

    4. Wow, 33 months for a case with “overwhelming” evidence where he was arrested at the scene of the crime is absolutely pathetic.

I know we have a shortage of prison space, but this is exactly the kind of violent behaviour we need to keep off our streets.

How can the victim (and others) feel safe knowing that likely the most traumatic experience of their life and the following open-and-shut trial only took this guy off the street for *less than 3 years!?*

Absolutely mental decision from the judge.

    5. 33 months for rape? What the fuck. Sometimes I wish I could just bury my head in the sand and be none the wiser to what any other human is up to. Constant bad news and seeing how shitty people are makes me bitter.

If a man raped me and got 33 months for it I’d go on a fucking rampage. This poor woman has to live with the trauma of rape for the rest of her life, could be traumatised going in any public toilets, may be wary of men forever and this specimen gets to do a bit of time then trot off like it never happened? Makes me sick.

Turns out men *don’t* need to pretend to be trans in order to enter the opposite-gendered toilet and commit vile crimes, who knew?

Hope the poor victim manages to find some peace and proper justice.

33 months for life time damage to another person.

5 years for making a few people late for work.

Regardless of the current political climate, this is a horrible crime. Yet again, sexual violence committed by a man against a woman. Women aren’t safe, we need to change our mindsets and call out misogyny before it turns into rape and sexual assault.
