Beautiful city, especially Sololaki, since it is not very touristy. Old Town was a lovely place, especially the part near the mosque, but a lot of it is sadly not kept well, which is understandable, considering the sheer amount of historical heritage Tbilisi has, which is in the need of constant maintaining. Some parts are in process of being restored, which is great. Honestly, I am surprised that such large historical center with hilly streets is kept at this level, great job.

Armenian heritage in Avlabari is well kept, though the district itself needs to be made more walkable and a lot of buildings are in need in restoration. The view opening there on Dzveli Tbilisi are breathtaking, and I think that Avlabari has more potential than it currently has. Though, again, Tbilisi has a lot of hidden potential

I found Tbilisi overall similar to Yerevan, though it is way more vernacular and the architecture is different. Unkept parts of Dzveli Tbilisi reminded me of Kond district in Yerevan, and, in general, vernaculars of Tbilisi are very similar to the ones of Yerevan, especially the backyards with water fountains, old people playing backgammon, grannies watching from balconies and unrestricted room extensions :p. The climate and surroundings are also surprisingly similar, Yerevan is also very hilly, just like Tbilisi, with a “Mother Countryname” monument on a mountain, river in a giant gorge and etc, with the difference that Tbilisi is greener. We also have a giant water reservoir outside the town.

Locals are nice and lovely people

As a Georgian myself, yes, these photo’s are truly from Tbilisi. I don’t know my Georgia never gets any attention global, we barley see georgia mentioned in videos from all kinds, unless you search the country up..
But ive seen many times they have mentioned georgia.
