Submission Statement
There was a time people thought Germany was too far north for widespread solar to work. Now it’s the most efficient power source in Germany, beating every other source except wind power. Renewables opponents say an electricity grid based on 100% renewables can’t work in an advanced industrialized economy with 80 million people. I bet Germany will prove that wrong too.
It should be noted that the prices include national CO2 pricing, which may lead to different results in other countries.
