We couldn’t even get that woman who did the hit and run extradited so good luck with that

Good luck to the left wing on getting Musk arrested.
I’m quietly confident he will continue doing whatever he likes with X and the UK government will find themselves absolutely toothless to intervene.

Musk might be a l00n but why is saying a British Civil War might be incoming incendiary? That’s merely stating facts about where Britain is today.

The Blackbelt Barrister has already covered this. Extradition only works when the person in question has broke a law that is applied in both jurisdictions. The USA has *actual* freedom of speech, so no laws have been broken. That’s like trying to extradite an American for possessing a firearm.

BB Barrister on YT broke this down and there is F all chance.
What would interest me is if the UK government was to take action with Twitter as a platform.
He is in a unique position at the head of the platform and appears to be using it as a political tool to invite problems domestically and internationally.

Goodluck, hes a us citizen with real speech protections

In the US he cannot be arrested for what he said but in the UK he can
We do not have freedom of speech in the UK
That is more worrying than what political side Elon is cheer leading against

While he may not get arrested, the UK can certainly issue a warrant regardless. Musk would be barred from visiting the UK which seems like a result.

If we can’t arrest him, could we just ignore him instead?

As if an American billionaire is going to come here to face our laws….he’s sitting back at the Tesla factory laughing at us. If you want to have any impact on him, boycott Tesla cars

Absurd nonsense, he’s free to say whatever he likes in the US, there’s no jurisdiction here.

I think he said something about the UK heading for civil war, then said something about two tier policing not protecting all parts of society. That’s just a political opinion, it’s not inciting anything. We need to get away from demanding arrest for everyone who has a different political opinion to us or we will just end up like North Korea or Russia. Left and Right extremists need to just calm down and think with a clear mind for once, not this constant hysterical nonsense

> Elon Musk should face “personal sanctions” and even the threat of an “arrest warrant” if found to be stirring up public disorder on his social media platform, a former Twitter executive has said.
So maybe he would build UK solar city or giga factory and all is ok?
