      That’s an _Edward_ VII, as shown by the letters ER (Edward Rex). We haven’t had a George VII yet.

      That’s an Edward VII postbox though.

      I hate to be the bearer of double bad news but not only is a George VII postbox currently impossible, the rare cypher is actually Edward VIII which isn’t the one represented by this box.

      Edit: I love the interest though. Ever since I learned of cyphers on post boxes I’ve never been able to unsee them. One of my local boxes is an Edward VIII.
