    Not being obese leads to a longer healthier life. Scientists already know this. If you are obese and slim down, of course it would lower the incidence of mortality. There is little about this that looks ground breaking. For extending the lives of already healthy people, there are going to be other options like this drug that has been shown to extend the life spans of dogs and will go into human trials next year:

  3. Stupid clickbait title. The article says great things about reducing the mortality rate but doesn’t give anything substantial about slowing down aging. It can make you live longer by not dying of a heart attack but that’s anti-dying, not anti-aging.

  4. Preventing your telomeres from degrading is actual anti-aging. So far the only method of accomplishing this that I’m aware of is through meditation.
