Improving the impartiality of policing is a necessity in this country. So many don’t feel able to go to the police/ the police make them feel unsafe. But the police trying to look politically impartial I could see a problem as not all political ideologies are as dangerous as each other.
I may be mistaken, but I didn’t see a single word in that summary page acknowledging any wrongdoing, any mistake, even the slightest mis-step. The whole thing read like passing the buck. “No no we try to be impartial it’s just the Equality Act is *so so unclear*.”
