I took this video back in November just outside of Lagodekhi. This is still a regular occurrence. I’m not saying Azerbaijan doesn’t have blood on their hands as well, but if you’re going to protest in Tbilisi, you need to get down here and close the road down. Park the old tractors and Kamazi’s on the road and disable them. Block the trade routes. Walking in the street is neat and all, but stop the flow of commerce. Otherwise it’s just a parade of people yelling
Fuck Russia

Imagine a possible situation if the West sanctions Georgia. I hope not.
…when a zero karma anonymous reddit account dating back to 2022 makes their first post ever commanding people to go block a road with tractors.
Yeah, it’s well known that Georgia doesn’t supervise well its trade with Russia but this is the wrong border. Most of the trucks there are running the route from Turkey to Azerbaijan. If you want to check sanctions bypass then the Larsi border is where you should look
And who the f are you?
These are mostly trucks that are passing through. You could also argue the same for Turkey or other countries that are shipping these. German companies especially are doing business with Russia through shell companies registered in 3rd party countries and most of them know full well where their products are going.
Also I believe ferrying people to the border to protest for 1-2 days is not the most effective way for change.
This govt. has to go, ideally after the elections.
