  1. Two students, Anhphu Nguyen and Caine Ardayfio, made an app called I-XRAY. This app works with Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses to find out who people are just by looking at them.

    How it works:

    * The glasses can take short videos without people noticing.
    * These videos go to Instagram where an AI monitors the feed.
    * The I-XRAY app uses smart computer programs to:
    1. Find pictures of the same faces online
    2. Look up personal info about those people

The app can find things like names, addresses, and phone numbers of people the glasses see. With this it’s easy to see how these glasses could be used in ways that might make people uncomfortable about their privacy.

  2. It’s peoples own fault if they use those glasses and end up permanent at emergency departement.
