Scientists have made a breakthrough by creating real diamonds in just 15 minutes using only room temperature and normal pressure.
This new method, developed by a team led by Rodney Ruoff in South Korea, eliminates the need for high pressure and a starter diamond, making the process faster and simpler.
While the diamonds produced are small and not suitable for jewelry, they could have industrial applications like drilling and polishing.
