>while being held in custody on suspicion of assaulting police.
I wonder if that means the officer hurt his foot?

>A boy is understood to have suffered ‘serious injuries’
The amount of people in here acting like a police officer nearly killing someone who was pinned to the ground is justified is sickening

No one I know has a story of the police doing their job well. Everyone I know who has dealt with the police has had terrible experiences

At least half the time when these stories come out you find out some missing context that makes it at least understandable why the police did what they did.
Some police are stupid/corrupt/excessively violent but I’m tired of this news cycle, I’m waiting until I have full context before I form an opinion.

That sounds pretty bad, but I thought the killing of Mark Duggan sounded bad until I saw the video

End of the day, look at the Manchester video.
Not jump to conclusions.
How was he supposed to know he was 16, yes it’s wrong, yes it looks like unnecessary force but we function on a premise of fair justice. Until all facts are given we shouldn’t judge

If this was a street brawl people would be calling him out for kicking him in the head whilst he was down, why’s it suddenly acceptable to some people if he was in uniform?
