As Automation “disrupts” people’s careers into unemployment insurance payrolls. That has an effect on birth rates, and without people as this sub likes to point out, there is no future. So this article looks into a study that discuss how stronger unemployment insurance leads to higher birth rates
The last place to look at is those societies if you care about birth rate. The German population is going to collapse.
instead of looking at ethnic makeup, the article somehow brings in “automation”. of course woman from non EU countries receive major social benefits and have more kids, duh.
Its still incredible to me that Europeans pay migrants to have kids so women can work and pay taxes, only to not be able to afford kids themselves. Its almost like a fever dream.
