The Arizona Cardinals face the San Francisco 49ers Sunday afternoon at State Farm Stadium to close out the season. They beat the Niners in Week 5 on the road 25-24 on a late field goal by Chad Ryland.

It snapped a four-game losing streak against the Niners and is the only loss 49ers starting quarterback Brock Purdy has against the Cardinals.

Purdy will miss the game with an elbow injury, so the Cardinals will face Joshua Dobbs at quarterback.

The Cardinals have the opportunity to do something they haven’t done since 2021 — sweep the season series against the 49ers.

The Cardinals were swept by the Niners each of the last two years.

Before 2021, they swept the Niners in four straight seasons, winning eight in a row against them from 2015-2018.

Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is 3-4 in seven career starts against San Francisco.

We will see if he can even his career record and win consecutive games against them.
