I swear the only thing I have seen in that sub for the last three months has been US politics posts .

This data would be more useful as a proportion of total posts for the day.

I feel like 1 is reasonable, by 3 I’m absolutely frustrated.

I’m fairly certain that sub in particularly is heavily-botted by different PACs

That sub slowly turned into pure propaganda this year. It seems to have fled to places like r/FluentinFinance now.

I swear r/pics will be studied when learning about astroturfing. That place is fucking insane, non stop orange man bad posts with 60,000 upvotes and then you scroll down a bit and there’s normal people posting their own interesting pictures with like 1,000 upvotes

The graph of my political viewership before and after the election resembles that but it’s more of a flatline on the right of the axis. I got rid of all political bloggers, youtubers and newpapers. Still twiddling my thumbs after two months, looking for something to do but it’s hard to pick up gardening below zero.

Anyone else seeing a low pass transfer function with one complex pole and one complex zero?

I ditched that sub because of political posts. Is there an alternate one where political posts are banned?
I like seeing random pics but not ones with agendas.

Yesterday there was a (largely failed) terrorist attack at Trump Tower in Las Vegas. The two TWO threads on r/pics were both making jokes and memes about it and largely in SUPPORT of the terrorist. Over 100,000 people up voted one of these threads. It’s just disgusting how political people (and especially reddit) has become that the most upvoted thread in a long time is in support for a literal suicide bomber. If you’re on reddit supporting terrorism you really need to look yourself in the mirror and ask “am I one of the baddies?”.
PS: perfectly fine to talk shit about Trump and Musk all you want, but when you support terrorist attacks directed towards them that harm innocent bystanders then that crosses a serious red line.
