      I assumed he would get in with an Islamic gang, pay the right person and be able to get by. Looks like nobody likes child killers.

      I’m not exactly sorry for him, but why would something hazardous like a tuna tin be allowed to make its way into a prison?

      Edit: tuna -> tuna tin

    3. Thoughts and prayers. That sounds about enough. No extra supervision or anything just thoughts and prayers. Seems to work

      My only thoughts against this are I hope he survives to have an absolutely horrendous time in prison. Death now would be too easy for him.

    5. I’m surprised he wasn’t in solitary confinement. Isn’t that usually the standard for convicted child murderers/abusers?

      Can’t say I feel any sympathy though.

      Oh dear, what a shame…

      Nothing compared to what he put his daughter through, though…..

    7. It kind of amazes me the kind of honor people in prison can have. It can be majorly unsafe for people who do things to kids in there.

      I’m not supporting this, it just fascinates me

    8. Even hardened convicts in Belmarsh have little tolerance for nonces and child killers. Not saying this is right, but after reading what he did to his own daughter I would relish reading his obituary.

    9. Random but I like that he’s just “Sara Sharif’s killer”. Cunt doesn’t deserve to be named.

    10. maybe the other prisoner slipped whilst eating a can of tuna and he happened to be there

      I understand the reddit content policy, but I will say I’m glad I got to read discussions pre-comment nuke to confirm people are sane and united in their thoughts on this topic.

      We should not outsource state violence. Prisons should be safe places to be.

      Either bring back judicial corporal punishment or dont. Letting other prisoners to do it is not the sign of a civilised society and should not be encouraged or cheered on.

      I’m surprised they kept him there. One of my friends who worked in a prison said how prisons usually keep child murderers and pedophiles separate from everyone else in prison as they typically get attacked often

      I hope he makes a full recovery so he can continue to serve his full 40 years in ever increasing fear of things like this continuing to happen.
