Hanford was the scene for multiple New Year’s Eve parties Tuesday night.
Downtown, a celebration was held during the Winter Wonderland event at Civic Park. A drone show took place above Superior Dairy — the flying devices’ colorful lights created a display to ring in the new year at 9 p.m. local time to coincide with the ball dropping in New York City.
Across town, Hanford’s Portuguese community celebrated the New Year with a big party surrounded by family and friends. This year’s bash was held at St. John’s Hall.
