    1. I expect there is going to be an “oops” moment in the next year or so when Musk find out that the wealthy liberals who buy electric cars have other options

    2. Does Elon own shares in Reddit? Because I swear I see his face more on here than I do on X…

Let’s see if the media have learnt their lesson after giving loads of constant attention towards Trump and Farage which totally didn’t help them win the Brexit Referendum and the US presidency. Not holding my breath.

Would be funny if he donated to a certain business that is ‘definitely isn’t a political party’ and it got hit with a windfall tax.

    5. I might be in a minority here but I like that Starmer has not replied to his every trolling ket filled post.

    6. Hopeful_Ranger_5353 on

Anyone with half a brain can see that the thing Elmo hates the most is no reaction at all.

If you give him either love or hate he feeds on it but indifference cuts attention seeking cunts like this to the core. If you really want to hurt him, just ignore him.

I wouldn’t trivialise it as mere trolling, I’m starting to fear for Jess Phillips’ safety tbh.

    8. He’s not a pub bore. He’s a 14 year old edge lord boy trapped in the body of a 55 year old apartheid beneficiary.

This country took people to court for hate speech for talking about grooming gangs.

A decade later they finally admitted that the “far right conspiracy theory” wasn’t just true but had been ongoing for decades.

Andy Burnham is on record saying he was aware of it during the 90s.

The BBC reported on it in the early 00s calling it child prostitution.

It wasn’t until 2014 that the truth was finally acknowledged.

During all that time every single person or group who mentioned it was demonised and abused and even prosecuted for speaking about it.

Even now we know it’s happend and is happening the only thing people are angry about is the people speaking up about it.

Even though we have numerous examples of senior labour mps and councillors admitting that they knew it was happening there are still people trying to pretend this issue has been dealt with

If you know kids are being abused and don’t say anything for 10 years justice hasn’t been done.

If priests in the Catholic church knew of abuse of children but didn’t speak put they should be held to account.

      That isn’t a controversial opinion.

The police, social services, councils etc should be held to the same standards and expectations as we would hold the church to.

    10. I do wonder what’s happened to the geezer. He used to be an eccenteric but successful businessman, driven to solve humanity’s biggest problems (climate change) and expand its horizons (Space).

Now he’s shouting free Tommy Lennon or whoever and telling people to fuck their faces on Twitter which he randomly bought to call X.

People say lots of drugs and familial difficulties, but this is….quite the turnaround.

Why would an elected leader of a country reply to a rich lump cosplaying as a human? Press needs to stop covering every toilet tweet elmo sends.

    12. No_Breadfruit_4901 on

So Elon tweeted the UK needs a new general election because the British people don’t want this government? Last time I checked Labour got more than double the votes Reform got and 3m more votes than the tory party… why should anyone listen to Elon?

    13. robbiedigital001 on

Tbh more people should be speaking up about these gangs which surely everyone would agree is a disgraceful issue

    14. So he can talk about grooming gangs in the UK but can’t use his platform to expose what his rich friends did with Epstein and Maxwell? Which is closer to home for him considering he’s been pictured mingling with them 🙂

Says the guardian who like other outlets reports Musks every brain fart and insist on questioning government ministers on it.

    16. Can’t wait till he is done in America, hated and bored so moves everything to the uk to take control.

He is the richest man in the world and this is what he decides to do with his money.

Comes across as quite the loser.

Build more rockets and talk less.

    17. EditorRedditer on

That lawsuit Farage was going to bring against Badenoch “in two days” over the Reform membership numbers?

      Where’s that to, then…?

    18. SpottedDicknCustard on

      > the issues enraging Elon Musk.

Dear British press, the issues enraging Elon Musk are irrelevant.

The real story is the worlds richest man just bought and bullied his way to the American presidency and now he’s trying to do the same here and in Germany; and that the man is an admitted drug user, has a borderline split personality disorder and talks to himself online via alt accounts.

A mentally ill foreigner is forcing his will on our politics.

That is all that is relevant here, not his conspiracy theories. Get a fucking grip.

    19. blackleydynamo on

He’s not helping the cause he thinks he’s helping. Both the Tories and Reform have reached out through back channels to ask him to stfu, especially about Tommeh Yaxley.

Brits, even those who hate Starmer, Labour or anything that isn’t St Nigel of Clacton, don’t take enormously kindly to rich yanks telling them what to do. Outside of the really rabid hard right (who are vocal but there aren’t as many as people think) even most Reform and Tory supporters think that TYL belongs eating porridge.

    20. Cynical_Classicist on

He just wants attention. The problem is that lots of people assume that he’s really clever and that what he says must be true.

    21. Usual_Accountant_963 on

It’s was only a matter of time before the flood of genocide refugees was replaced with floods of Hollywood woke refugees

    22. I might have to add “Elon” to my blocked words on here. All this attention, even if it’s hate, is just feeding him and worsening the problem

    23. bayofplentykzn on

As a south african who lived in the uk for 7 years ignore this nobhead. This man embarrasses us. No doubt he has some good ideas but he’s very mouthy.

    24. Complex-Philosophy38 on

The thing that annoys me the most about Elon is the fact that he’s an attention seeker who constantly manages to get my attention. I need to figure out some way to block him from all news and social media apps

    25. bluecheese2040 on

The left miss the point yet again…the issues Musk talks about will play extremely well among large ( I dare say maybe even the majority) of the country. He’s never going to win leftists and guardian readers but….remember brexit…remember the election of Johnson remember the election of Trump….write this sort of populism off at your peril.

Its easy to make it about Musk but imo you beat him and this wace of populism by focusing on the reality and the policies.

You won’t of course…so never mind just carry on seething.

    26. SubjectReflection142 on

Musk is right on what he’s calling out though, are politicians are monstrously bad

    27. The thing is, if he wasn’t rich, nobody would give a shit about anything he says. Our society seems rather fucked.

    28. If had just a smidge of the wealth Musk has I’d being doing shit that would make people think was a fucking hero like helping the homeless, setting up shelters for people in need, supporting various charities etc..

      Actually fucking helping people.

I just don’t understand the mindset of somebody who just wants to cause pain and misery
