Not a shock, to be honest, is it? It’s quite glaring reading my local newspaper or looking at my town’s Police Facebook page.

More likely to be arrested still doesn’t necessarily mean more likely to have actually done it. Most rapes in this country aren’t even reported to the police.

It’s because we’re failing at integration.

This idea that all cultures are equal is for the birds.

      Some really fucking aren’t.

      >Foreign nationals account for 5.5 million people in Britain, according to the ONS, while the British population is 53.5 million.

That’s false, by about a factor of two. As of 2021, [about 16%](https://migrationobservatory.ox.ac.uk/resources/briefings/migrants-in-the-uk-an-overview/) of the UK population, or 10.7 million people, are born abroad, and that’s without accounting the immense number of migrants we have received since the census was taken or the fact that migrants don’t engage with the census as much as Brits do.

I’m anti Islamic immigration but this headline is a lot more inflammatory than the equally true: “Arrests for sexual offences by migrants 0.165% of migrant population”.

Don’t lose your head over it.

I’m not anti not pro immigration per say but you simply cannot expect some of the demographic coming from massively anti female backgrounds to walk into the U.K. and drop every single prejudice and belief around women.

    7. There’s literally ZERO benefits to MASS immigration. The ruling class know this, it’s clearly being engineered to create social disharmony and make the populace far easier to control. Instead of pointing out the issues the ruling class are causing it’s far easier to be fighting among each other. The way this world runs, especially in the west is fascinating.

A foreigner can’t even bat a women in the mouth now or touch them up on the bus without the right wing press going daft. These days.

    9. I’m a foreigner from a country that is culturally Christian and am currently living in the UK. I have a degree from a UK university and I pay tens of thousands of pounds in taxes every year. Never been arrested.

Why don’t we add some conditional variables to this data to see what kind of foreigners are committing these crimes? 🙂

Fuck anyone who tries to paint all foreigners as the same…

    10. Sir_Bonk_A_Lot on

The solution is simple, do not give visas easily to people that don’t have a clean record, revoke visas when they break the law and don’t treat foreigners as lesser. The reason they’re more likely to commit sex offences isn’t because they’re foreign, it’s because the system is broken and allows criminals to enter. You can’t punish or restrict foreigners who do no wrong (the large majority of them). You also have to look at why the figures are higher.

This only looks at arrests. Are police more likely to arrest foreigners compared to non foreigners? That’s also something to take into consideration. There isn’t a single answer to this and there’s too much rage bait skewing public perception already

    11. Already enough comments pointing out the terrible data analysis here. No distinction between ‘foreigners’, wrong numbers in regards to census etc. Nothing short of rage-bait.

    12. It’s the Telegraph. I’d trust my Labrador’s grasp of statistics before I’d trust anything from that shitrag 😂

Another telegraph article posted on foreigners. They are absolutely obsessed with it, along with the sub using the telegraph as an article source for certain topics.

    14. Amazing_Battle3777 on

Mass migration has been devastating, becoming a third world country, this data is outrageously bad and it’s only going to get worse.

Clearly there is good migration from countries and awful countries where we shouldn’t be taking anyone from period.

All majority Muslim countries too, and most likely a high % of these people being asylum seekers.

Rupert Lowe is doing amazing work pressing the gov for more data, the public need to know – enough is enough.

    15. Sounds alarming then you read it’s from a very biased source called the “Centre for Migration Control ” could they have an axe to grind against “foreigners” ? You’d think the telegraph could do its own interpretation of the figures and let us know if their numbers are right or if they could replicate this finding.

Lazy work Telegraph. Is this finding true? Journalists are getting so lazy

People will say anything except Pakistanis. We know what the problem is. It’s a very specific community.

    17. Stopping the illegal channel crossing could be done in a couple of weeks, but it takes some really harsh decisions that no one wants to make and would cost migrant lives during the crossings..
